This is how it all began. I started volunteering at Public Access TV after high school, where I learned to shoot and edit. Everything was analog in those days. I was also very into “hacky sack” (footbag). I bridged those worlds by making videos that documented the highest level players in the sport of footbag, then became one myself, and this ultimately led me down the path of filmmaking.
